Duties 

• Sets-up operates and breaks down a wide array of audiovisual equipment components and systems including lecture capture and related equipment from basic to high-end audio video projection videoconferencing sound and lighting equipment as well as associated desktop and/or laptop computers
• Administers and manages the Zoom Videoconferencing/Streaming System Video Streaming Server Audio Conferencing and Web Conferencing infrastructure at the application level
• Administers and manages the Distributed Digital Signage System and new Video Conference Infrastructure
• Assists with the use of classroom technologies including coordination and provision of lecture-capture services for classes events and special assignments
• Mentors back-up support staff and/or other AV technicians as necessary to help develop their knowledge and troubleshooting/technical-issue-resolving skills
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other IT units and departments and external vendors/contractors
• Prepares effective written and graphic materials for the purposes of end-user training and system documentation
• Performs other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Three years of demonstrated hands on experience in supporting AV and conferencing technologies in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment
• Working knowledge of current AV audio video and web conferencing technologies
• Experience with video conferencing systems and streaming technology
• Working knowledge of principles of AV collaboration and low-voltage technologies design development engineering integration implementation performance criteria and analysis
• CTS certification
• Familiarity with PC hardware; Mac hardware a plus; familiarity with Windows Operating System (Windows 10) and Mac OS X are a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication
