Job Description and Duties
This position under general supervision from the Heath Record Technician II Supervisor is responsible for pulling and filing volumes of records; filing single and multiple documents; preparing documents for record destruction according to California retention guidelines; opening sorting and distributing mail; using basic office equipment such as copier fax telephone computer and printer; typing correspondences; taking meeting minutes; and providing excellent customer service to public and hospital staff.
