As a territory sales representative for Nashville Tennessee you’ll have the opportunity to work from your home office traveling to independent agencies to assist with building and strengthening their book of Progressive business. Ideal candidates will make use of their strong interpersonal skills while influencing agencies within their territory to market Progressive services and products while also providing marketing strategies. Additionally you’ll have the opportunity to prospect for new agencies in the territory. We’ll help you in reaching these goals by providing a company vehicle phone laptop and company card.

Territory: Nashville Jackson Memphis and surrounding communities. Candidates must be able to travel to and meet with all agencies within this geographic area. 40% of overnight travel will be required.

Preferred home office location: Nashville and surrounding communities.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study (Marketing Business Management) and three years of outside business to business sales experience
  • Instead of a degree five years of outside business to business sales experience or five years of experience in the property and casualty field
  • Compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policy
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Preferred skills

  • Demonstrated outside business to business sales experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
