JOB TITLE: Senior HR Analytics Business Consultant
LOCATION: Dallas TX and work from home.
DUTIES : Lead and/or participate in enterprise projects and provide facilitation and consultation regarding People analytics strategies. Partner with Talent Acquisition Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Performance Management HR Business Partners Employee Services groups to propose bespoke technological and analytical improvements to support Southwest HR transformational initiatives. Define the data and analytics (D&A) technology strategy to support Southwest’s compensation and benefits vision. Operationalize high visibility strategic technology programs to execute on current and future departmental goals. Conduct workshops with senior executives to understand their vision for the People Department and develop multi -year roadmap of key priorities to direct budgets/investments. Partner with cross functional leaders to define the future of work at Southwest using internal and external research data building the business case to support recommendation with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Work with business process owners to identify automation or report enhancement opportunities including alternative approaches to data visualization and data process streamlining. Design business processes supported by system applications that map to organizational capabilities within each People department function. Serve as the system/product owner for People department reporting and analytics applications and approves data requests by end users across the enterprise. Automate and standardizes system tasks to reduce unplanned downtime and maximize system availability for People department technology applications. Maintain HR master data and conduct proactive audits in conjunction with HRIS teams to foster data quality/integrity. Ensure completeness and accuracy of People department data by designing the processes for running periodic sanity checks. Perform requirements gathering and understand the business purpose and the downstream implications of business activity outcomes. Partner with Leaders to brainstorm on requirements and provide guidance and expertise on standing up new capabilities for transforming Human Resources applications landscape. Analyze business requirements to recommend the appropriate technology solution for meeting business needs keeping interdependencies and impacts in consideration. Build ratify and socialize detailed business cases for technology. Propose the strategy to deliver the required capabilities build project roadmap high level plan and create program structure with roles and responsibilities. Perform data driven hypothesis present multiple perspectives and leverage analytics to proactively identify challenges and roadblocks within People functional areas. Assists with the development of department reporting and metrics. Develop the HR data and analytics strategy to derive key insights to support and enhance Employee Experience throughout their journey at Southwest from hire to retire . Design and define the Southwest People Department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and determine process maturity levels to be represented on the dashboard for Executive consumption and decision making. Lead development of all People department monthly quarterly and ad-hoc metrics/reporting. Advise leadership on key changes that support digital transformation and enabling the changes critical to sustained business performance: skills capabilities and organizational design. Provide training guidance leadership and direction for analytics usage and business decisioning. Own and operate People analytics for Southwest helping leaders translate data and insights into strategies for optimal execution while amplifying positive outcomes for the People department. Provide guidance and leadership to People Analytics function including progressing iterating and delivering on approved approach. Partner with Employee Experience team to understand key business questions and design analyses to answer them.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology Computer Engineering Business Administration or a related field followed by 7 years of progressive experience in project management and technical consulting. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in business case analysis related to the automation or process re-engineering of in-scope business processes. 5 years of experience with reporting or analytics. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience providing Service Line support in either ongoing support or launch of an HR Technology solution or system. Experience therein to include 2 years of experience extracting and compiling business data in support of business process research performing analysis of data and sharing preliminary results with team and customers. 2 years of experience communicating system information with stakeholders and leaders. Must have ability to work from home.
