Specialist, Contractual Operations

Our mission is to protect and enforce Meta’s contractual and deal-driven regulatory obligations. As a member of the Contractual Operations team you’ll play a key role in innovating improving and handling legal matters efficiently and quickly to ensure that Meta meets its licensing obligations with regards to music video and deal-driven regulatory agreements. You’ll use data-driven techniques industry-leading workforce management advanced process improvement and legal and policy expertise to ensure that we comply with Meta’s obligations and strengthen our strategic partnerships. This team touches a wide array of Meta’s Legal Media and Music ecosystem and has a diverse group of stakeholders across the team and company. We are seeking an experienced candidate who is passionate about Meta’s products and our mission and is relentless in finding smarter better faster ways of getting things done. This role will be heavily focused on building and strengthening cross-functional relationships developing strategies in support of our licenses contractual obligations and other rights. Successful candidates will be self-motivated data-oriented have an ability to work across different time zones and experienced in executing global projects from inception to launch.

Specialist Contractual Operations Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep expertise in legal aspects of Meta’s rights management products licensing and music licensing agreements to effectively advocate for product improvements support escalations partner needs and user experiences
• Develop strategy to support contractual obligations prioritizing efficiency and global scalability
• Support contractual obligations through a review of escalated issues iterating to make improvements in process and operational effectiveness
• Support Meta’s media and licensing partners collaborating with Partnerships Legal Product and Operations teams to understand and resolve product questions and legal concerns
• Become an expert in core operational risk infrastructure tools systems and data
• Execute both quantitative and qualitative analysis of data and trends to proactively deliver insights define goals and drive improvements
• Effectively plan and execute team-wide projects to further our mission and improve user experience while liaising with cross-functional partners in Legal Operations Product Engineering and Partnerships to move these initiatives forward
• Define clear business problems and prioritize solutions using data-driven analytics developing success metrics to measure project performance and alignment with team mission and goals

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of work experience in operations and/or end-to-end project management product business strategy and/or operations
• 1+ years of experience in customer support or support operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of intellectual property music/video licensing or digital rights management
• Demonstrated track record of disciplined execution acting independently across competing priorities and exercising judgment
