Job Responsibilities : Formulary Operations Clinical Pharmacist Job ID: 14235-25-622-002 (Remote)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Aid in preparation and maintenance of commercial formulary files which includes marketing
documents web-based search files etc.
Research formulary and adjudication related issues and resolve them timely and appropriately
Analyze impact reports to identify appropriate course of action for members impacted by formulary and adjudication
changes
Serve as the subject matter expert with regards to formularies for all internal and external stakeholders
Ensure that the administration of the formularies is accurate with regards to adjudication of claims
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharm.D.
Must maintain an active pharmacist license in good standing in at least one state
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Knowledge and experience in formulary management strategies
Ability to independently identify research and resolve issues
An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent
communication skills
A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational implementation and detail oriented
perspective
A strategic planner with sound technical skills analytical ability good judgment and strong operational focus
Ability to work with peers in a team effort
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
Ability to work extended hours weekends and holidays pursuant with industry demands
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with informatics
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
