The Performance Enablement Group is looking for an Assistant Learning Director to lead a group of Learning Consultants who facilitate formal learning experiences for all of Personal Lines & Small Commercial Operations. The ideal candidate will be driven and motivated and have formal leadership experience familiarity with performance based learning.
  • Effectively consults with and partners with PL/SC Operations leadership stakeholders process owners and PEG team members to ensure we are effectively supporting our learners and their leaders throughout the learning journey.
  • Oversees team’s effectiveness measures to ensure learning solutions support business outcomes employee engagement and speed to proficiency. Owns reporting on these metrics.
  • Partners with design team to ensure learning experiences/curricula created address current need and evolve to support the continually changing needs of the business areas and the adult learner in the future workplace.
  • Manages and owns engagement and staff schedules to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Coaches and develops talent to ensure growth and equitable opportunities. Responsible for encouraging and supporting employee active learning.
  • Partners with Knowledge Management/Curation/Design Leader peers to ensure effective integration of formal learning and performance support.
  • Oversees classroom scheduling best practices and resource planning to enable the team to operate at a consistently high level to meet objectives.
  • Stays abreast of current developments and trends and seeks next generation strategies and technologies to enhance classroom and informal learning facilitation.

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses long-term incentives and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$95360 – $143040
