Job Responsibilities : Digital Learning Coordinator – Little Rock, AR Home Office (22-23)

The Digital Learning Coordinator is a key member of the RES AR district virtual learning support staff reporting to the State Director of Virtual Learning. The Registrar’s main responsibility is the maintenance of SIS (student information system) including state SIS reporting of student demographic information with an additional focus on grades 4- through 12 related to virtual charter schools (Founders Classical Academy & Premier High School Online). The Digital Learning Coordinator will support the registration and onboarding processes through the management of databases cycle reports student records and distribution of district and school official documents and mailings. The Digital Learning Coordinator will work closely with the digital learning provider(s) state and national systems administrators and the RES AR virtual administrators to assist in their other administrative and academic functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to):

  • Support the virtual administrators with accuracy in state student information systems
  • Request records and store records of students
  • Register students in all appropriate program and accurate information in state student information
  • Serve as database coordinator for student and family information
  • Reconcile information among databases and departments
  • Set-up maintain and monitor student information academic records and enrollment information in multiple databases
  • Enter new student data in all state database upon enrollment
  • Ensure completion of cumulative files for current and new students prior to transfer to grade appropriate campuses
  • Prepare transcripts for students transferring to other high schools
  • Maintain State Assessments NWEA SAT PSAT and ACT as well as any additional standardized score reports in students’ portfolios databases and cumulative files
  • Maintain accurate GPA and Credits of Students
  • Produce verify and send valid accurate transcripts for students
  • Complete mid-year and final transcripts for graduating seniors Compile and submit statistical information for all accrediting agencies for reporting compliance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Database Management Experience
  • Familiarity with School Information Systems
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and make recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Google Docs
  • Attention to detail
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
