Job Responsibilities : Product Strategy Senior Advisor – Work From Home – Express Scripts (Pharmacist)

The Sr. Clinical Consultant is primarily responsible for using his/her clinical expertise along with medical pharmacy and economic data to assist in the development implementation and maintenance of the organization’s medical drug strategy. The Sr. Clinical Consultant works collaboratively with multiple business partners across the enterprise to formulate medical strategies that allow Express-Scripts’ clients to develop grow and enhance affordable medical and cross-benefit solutions.
The Sr. Clinical Consultant is the primary clinical contact for internal cross-functional partners and medical clients. In addition the Sr. Clinical Consultant supports our medical product development provides clinical expertise for development of analytic tools and supports participation in cross-functional initiatives and pilot opportunities as they arise.
Serve as clinical medical SME for internal teams and client partners
Assess medical pipeline to identify impact to existing products and assists analytic partner in development of new solutions.
Serve as a first-line clinical contact for account teams and client questions concerning medical drug strategy
Maintain up-to-date documentation of client strategy and buildout
Lead strategic discussions internally and externally leveraging analytic and strategic medical expertise
Utilize clinical information and analytical data to evaluate product performance and to develop strategies to improve product benefit
Licensed pharmacist in good standing. RPh or Pharm D
3 + years of managed care PBM or related experience
Knowledge of PBM industry/Managed care/Health Plans
Background in medical drug management cross-benefit management and experience working with medical data
Experience with clinical data analysis and/or pharmacoanalytics is desirable
Track record of developing innovative solutions and driving client value
Ability to read and interpret clinical literature
Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to adapt in a changing environment and to assume new projects or responsibilities as needed
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work independently but also collaboratively with other departments
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
Ability to use or learn new tools as necessary
Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills required; proven leadership skills team-orientation a proactive management style and strong commitment to client service a must; ability to work on multiple tasks prioritize resolve complex issues and have strong project management skills; ability to learn multiple internal reporting and analytic tools use advanced problem solving skills; work independently as well as collaboratively
Strong relationship development capabilities with ability to work effectively with Senior Management
For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of $102500 – $170900 depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
