Job Description Summary: The Technology Department includes about 50 professionals who support PayPal Business Financing Solutions through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Data Analytics platform Network Infrastructure Websites Webservices and various system integrations. Responsibilities: · Perform Salesforce administrative functions such as the creation and configuration of users custom objects fields reports etc. · Develop and maintain user permissions structure through user roles profiles groups and security settings · Debug complex technical issues delivering appropriate immediate fixes & long-term solutions · Uphold defined business practices and a high standard in data quality and integrity · Be an autonomous problem solver – strive for answers independently but know when it’s time to ask for help who to ask and what to ask · Serve as an in-house Salesforce expert · Own tier 1 and tier 2 support queue serving as subject matter expert and escalating tier 3 issues as needed · Exhibit strong customer empathy in identifying and building solutions to address user needs and enhance usability through updated page layouts workflow rules and processes · Identify troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues · Update and maintain Salesforce system documentation · Thrive in a constantly changing work environment with a commitment to get up to speed quickly and a flexible mindset Requirements · At least 1-2 years of Experience as Salesforce Admin · Should be able to work for 5 days a week 3 days between Monday – Friday (flexible on what days you want to work) and over the weekend · A bachelor’s degree with major or minor in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field · Experience in an Agile software development environment using tools like Jira is preferred · Basic knowledge of manage packages with applications such as Five9 Distribution Engine Conga Composer DocuSign Demand tools etc. · A solid understanding of Salesforce’s technical and functional capabilities and the interest in staying atop of Salesforce updates · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce objects fields page layouts workflows process builder validation rules permissions roles reports and logical formulas · Experience with Data Loader · Salesforce Administrator certifications are preferred · Experience working in a support team is preferred · Experience working in a Salesforce organization with over 200 users is preferred
