The Homecare Coordinator is responsible for printing and distributing daily calls for Mobile Laboratory Patient Technicians (MLPTs). They demonstrate LifeLabs Vision and Values in all activities. This is a Regular Part Time role with the availability between 6am -10pm Mon- Fri and 6am- 2pm on weekends. This is a hybrid role with opportunity to work from home.
Accountabilities:
Operational:
Print daily calls for MLPTs and distribute according to area/prioritize work order for MLPTs for efficiency
Coordinate and review MLPT routes
Develop and maintain effective communication with clients team members and support staff including practicing effective listening skills
Ensure effective communication using various modes of communication-for example with MLPTs on the road to add on calls to communicate systems failure/halt in work to internal and external clients
Distribute written/verbal communications to MLPTs as required
Ongoing communication with manager regarding difficulties/trends happening in the field
Audit incoming calls answer patient questions answer phone requests direct callers for out-of-town orders
Deal with customer service issues/problem solving
Reschedule patients for missed appointments
Update orders and communicate with Community Care Access Centers (CCACs) daily
Process CCAC billing on monthly basis
Accurate data entry of all service requests
Prepare and process requisitions/reports
Interpret lab requests for clients and professional services
Put together reports in standard order working to a deadline
Handle fax requests
Coordinate student trainers as needed/applicable
Petty cash order supplies arrange for servicing of equipment
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:
Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with relevant LifeLabs Policies and Procedures
Ensure compliance with external Regulatory Agencies and Licensing requirements
Accountability: Technology Receive and register forms records and other documents for data capture Input data into computerized databases spreadsheets or other templates using a keyboard mouse or optical scanner speech recognition software or other data entry tools Import and/or export data between different kinds of software Verify accuracy and completeness of data Identify label and organize electronic storage media Maintain libraries of electronic storage media

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
