About This Role:

The office specialist III provides specialized administrative work relevant to the fiscal purchasing employment and payroll administration needs for Global Campus. They help manage the office and human resource functions and serve as a resource for staff regarding basic fiscal and personnel policy and procedures. The incumbent provides overall office management supervision and functions as a liaison to the business manager and administrators of Global Campus. This position will help manage credit and noncredit accounts for the department. The position will ensure the smooth operation of Global Campus on a day-to-day basis.

This position regularly interacts with staff across Global Campus and is expected to contribute positively to the mission of K-State Global Campus.

This position is expected to work with moderate supervision and communicate regularly with their supervisor and other members of the dean’s office staff. The individual in this position must be able to solve issues and prioritize responsibilities. Work is performed using independent judgment in interpreting and applying established accounting procedures and regulations.

Work location: This is a remote position with K-State Global Campus but the incumbent must be available to work periodically in the Global Campus office on the Manhattan campus. Employees are expected to maintain a home office or other approved location (in accordance with university policy) from which they would work. K-State Global Campus operates on central time.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or four year degree

Three years of relevant experience

Familiarity and experience with data entry

Proven record of organizational and administrative skills including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects

Computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 use of database systems and electronic communication applications

Other Requirements:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
