Position Summary

As an eCommerce Specialist who will be supporting Nestle USA’s Product Information ecosystem tech stack (Edge Salsify and other Nestle proprietary solutions) interacting with our brand websites team and Nestle’s OMNI channel team as a SPOC for the digital shelf. You will experience supporting Product Information and Digital Shelf solutions for Digital Marketing Teams. You’ll lead the technical strategy and execution of Product Information management across systems to ensure timely complete and accurate information to appear on Brand Websites and eRetailers sites Recommend business process improvements by automating the flow of information along with workflow approvals. Partner with agencies to implement the technical solutions and facilitate with business. Perform data analysis across systems to ensure complete and accurate information.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides deep specialist consultancy guidance and support in their specific specialism (e.g. Artificial Intelligence Robotic Process Automation Machine Learning etc. based on subject expertise).
  • Coordinates technical consultancy assignments which involve specialists from various disciplines
  • Supports the technical activity (design build testing) in a significant or complex Innovation initiatives accountable to the Innovation or Product Manager for the delivery and quality of technical deliverables.
  • Makes recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness efficiency and delivery of services through the use of (emerging) technology and technical methods and methodologies.
  • Provides business with deep technical expertise advising on best technology solutions translating the business vision into technical vision.
  • Ensures IT requirements are met and service quality maintained when introducing new products. Considers the cost effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Supports the development of and/or review of standards documentation and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise.
  • Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommend smart (specific measurable achievable realistic timely) solutions.
  • Provides guidance and directions also if needed technical support to a business or an organization’s employees mentoring and sharing technology knowledge with the teams.

Required Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science system analysis or a related study or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in at least one relevant specific technology such as Product Information or Digital Shelf (Salsify/Edge by Ascential)
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Proven track record of structured problem-solving experience based on data analysis
  • Experience of successfully leading technical evaluations
  • Experience of resolving technical issues including those involving 3rd parties

Preferred Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in at least one relevant specific technology: Digital Marketing (CMS CRM) Data analysis Agile methodology Web development coding and scripting Digital Marketing Infrastructure/MarTech Data Science and/or Project Management.
