The Small & Medium Businesses (SMB) team part of Microsoft Search Advertising(MSA) is hiring a People Manager for Digital Customer Success team. You will be responsible for leading a team of earlier in career Client Success Managers (CSMs) to accelerate the top SMB clients in the North America region.
The SMB Client Success Sales Manager’s success in this role is measured by team feedback sales quota attainment and scorecard target performance.

  • This role is part of a team focused on Small & Medium Businesses (SMB) which is responsible for driving significant growth for Microsoft Advertising.   • This role in North America is responsible for leading a team of earlier in career Client Success Managers (CSMs) to accelerate the top SMB clients in the North America region and help them realize their business goals. This is a critically important client-facing sales management role where your team will deliver success for our clients through at-scale account management identification of opportunities and promotion/education of Microsoft Advertising products and features. This role requires deep partnership across the broad SMB team to enable global consistency and best practice sharing. This role is equal parts sales management and program management – leading and managing the day-to-day team execution and facilitating the execution of strategic and tactical initiatives

  • Make SMB a core growth engine for Microsoft Advertising through revenue performance
  • Meet/exceed SMB revenue goals identify and prioritize high value opportunities and actively seek ways to innovate.
  • Partner with peers SMB Revenue analysts Marketing Support Operations and Insights to drive outbound revenue initiatives based on high opportunity verticals or segments.
  • Leverage demand signals to drive adoption of features and products that help clients participate in our marketplace more effectively.
  • Build strength and scale to how the sales motion is executed; make it easy to sell Microsoft Advertising and to share the Microsoft Bing and Microsoft Advertising Audience Network (MSAN) story at scale.
  • Strengthen client/agency relationships and support incubation of new product offerings.
  • Drive for global consistency through best practice sharing and joint strategic planning with your global peers.
  • Identify and surface internal and external blockers; gather build and surface requirements to overcome those blockers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience across sales service business development and/or marketing.
  • 3+ years of direct sales or business development

The salary for this role in the state Colorado is between $119200 and $178800.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
