Job Description Summary: PayPal Tools and Global Client engineering is responsible for packaging and delivering software patch management Group Policy management operating system image builds and Operating system deployment. The team is charged with delivering a safe secured and consistent user computing experience across all PayPal employee Profiles and across multiple OS platforms
PayPal Tools and Global Client engineering is responsible for packaging and delivering software patch management Group Policy management operating system image builds and Operating system deployment. The team is charged with delivering a safe secured and consistent user computing experience across all PayPal employee Profiles and across multiple OS platforms. The MAC systems Administrator does the following amongst other activities:
- Investigate and evaluate new vendor hardware for corporate desktops and laptops.
- Assist in the creation and maintaining of OS X images and configurations.
- Engage in desktop engineering activities to automate and simplify processes in order to improve knowledge worker developer and customer support staffs’ user experience
- Provide engineering support and technical expertise regarding integration of new and existing Desktop technologies.
- Ensure the development and documentation of operational procedures
- Interface with internal customers vendors and internal IT management to translate observed needs in to solutions
- Implement best practice security measures to protect valuable corporate IP
- Maintain a secure desktop environment leveraging top rated industry security product
