Job Responsibilities : Automotive Mechanical Claims Representative – Remote

Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and written correspondence from customers repair facilities and financial institutions to assist with policy administration and claim inquiries.
- Efficiently engage repair facilities to acquire pertinent repair information to adjudicate vehicle service contract claims
- Addressing inquires and collecting information using active listening and a probing approach
- Validate information provided through research manuals database or contacts
- Achieve total customer satisfaction in every interaction and making sure you are meeting or exceeding departmental objectives
The Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge or experience required. Direct experience within the automotive repair industry preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with repair facilities to acquire pertinent information.
- Effective problem solving skills with the ability to objectively handle conflicting priorities.
- Proficient using a computer along with reliable fast internet as well as a distraction free work environment.
- HS diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Reliable with the ability to follow an 8-hour shift between 7AM and 7PM CST.
