Job Responsibilities : Senior Solutions Architect

Salary : $10,738 – $15,841 a month

Serves as a solutions expert at the business unit level developing the most advanced end-to-end solution architecture for highly complex and significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. Exposes current state architecture and identifies options for future state architecture. Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns. Develops plans for and facilitates the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives. Mentors those in less senior positions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible to create Solution High Level Design to solve for Portfolio Epics
  • Technical knowledge with insights into choosing appropriate technology to solve specific problems with the right Solution Architecture
  • Collaborate with Business owners Business Architects to define and shape the Epics/requirements
  • Collaborate with various Architect teams (Domain Enterprise and Application Architects) to develop the Solution Architecture and document them
  • Responsible to present the Architecture intent and Solution Architecture to Architecture review board drive consensus and approval
  • Prepared to make decisions and be prescriptive in solution recommendations
  • Coordinate with Application Architects amongst multiple Agile Release Trains (ART) to ensure development adheres to the recommended solution design.
  • Leverage prior application development knowledge/skills to provide technical leadership to development teams.
  • Solution/Application Architect experience
  • Experience in Java Webservices API MicroServices and Cloud Native Development
  • Technical background and experience in Software Development
  • Effective Technical and Software Architecture design abilities
  • Solution patterns and system integration knowledge
  • Agile driven development experience leveraging Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE)
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to make progress in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • SPARX EA Visio and Case Complete experience
  • Understanding of DevSecOps
  • Experience collaborating with global teams for solutions concept through implementation
  • Experience with Business Architecture concepts (BIZBOK)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FedEx Express Operations systems a plus (but not necessary).

Minimum Qualifications:

Domicile: This position can be domiciled in Collierville TN Colorado Springs CO Pittsburgh PA Orlando FL or Dallas TX.

Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.

Colorado Residents Only – Compensation: Monthly Salary $10737.75 – $15841.12
