Job Responsibilities : Manager, Payment Partnership Operations

The Payment Partnership Operations team is dedicated to operational partner management of our key payment partners, processors, and service providers. This team’s responsibilities include new partner enablement, relationship management, investigating, triaging and solving payment processing issues, testing new partner integrations and features, and influencing internal stakeholders to help drive the business forward.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, that align with long term organizational efforts, while maintaining a focus on the career development of direct reports
- Determine team’s project roadmap and priorities while holding accountable to milestones and delivery deadlines
- Monitor and analyze payment method and partner integration health metrics and optimize alert and response tactics to resolve partner issues quickly
- Maintain knowledge of the organization’s products and services, in order to participate in both technical and non-technical conversations with internal and external stakeholders
- Influence external partners effectively in collaboration with Payment and Commerce Partnerships team
- Be a company-level expert and advocate for Risk and Payment Operations, coordinating across partner teams including Payments & Commerce Partnerships, Product, Finance, Legal, and Engineering
- Become an expert in core payment support infrastructure, tools, systems, and data
- Collaborate across Risk and Payment Operations teams to prioritize product and data requirements which allow new payment methods and partner integrations to scale
- Actively contributes to recruiting efforts and growing of the larger Risk & Payments team
- 5+ years experience working in an operations environment
- 2+ years experience in the payments industry
- 2+ years experience managing people
- Experience with relationship management and working within a global organization
- Experience operating across multi-disciplinary teams and different time zones
- Experience with strategic thinking with an analytical and problem solving approach
- 2+ years of relationship and/or partner management experience
- 2+ years of experience developing teammates’ careers and skills
