New Mexico Veterans Upward Bound (NMVUB) seeks an Albuquerque based Education Site Coordinator for the TRIO VUB Program hosted by UNM-Taos. NMVUB is the only TRIO program of its kind in the state of New Mexico and currently serves pre-college students in Colfax Rio Arriba Santa Fe Taos San Miguel and Bernalillo Counties. VUB programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide individualized support to former military members seeking to attend academic programs at any college university or technical school not just UNM. The NMVUB Education Site Coordinator will work remotely primarily in a home office and with our program partners in Albuquerque to provide support and programming for our Bernalillo based pre-college students. Our new NMVUB Education Site Coordinator will be mission driven with a commitment to serving our veteran community working virtually and in-person as part of small team of dynamic professionals. Our chosen candidate will be a self-starter with an ability to assess plan and implement community outreach projects and professionally represent NMVUB.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
