In your Distribution Analyst role you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.

This role will reside within the Kimberly-Clark staff Distribution Operations Team. The position focuses on managing and leading productivity initiatives by utilizing labor management tools and processes within our North America Distribution Centers to maximize facility throughput and reduce costs. Position will also provide strategic and tactical support for DC projects to ensure the achievement of Distribution objectives.

This role is 100% Remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Blue Yonder WMS/Labor Management to establish DC productivity standards and analysis for productivity continuous improvement

  • Lead and support productivity analyses to support the DC budgeting process

  • Work directly with regional mixing DC’s and mill-attached DC’s to ensure management systems are delivering targeted productivity results

  • Drive and support productivity initiatives in new opportunistic areas of our distribution centers including but not limited to raw materials and the yard

  • Provide onsite project support as needed as an extended member of Distribution project teams

  • Lead development and implementation of transactional and operational distribution systems and processes in large CPG distribution centers along with associated change management within large diverse teams

  • Serve as key contact and functional expert for mills and third-party-operated Distribution Centers in process support and training as needed

  • Develop a scope and depth of knowledge in safety quality and materials handling technical expertise to investigate and drive continuous improvement and innovative solutions.

  • Support cost improvement programs to facilitate the achievement of Customer Logistics cost objectives and create new tools or perform ad hoc analysis as needed to support various customer group needs.

To succeed in this role you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain engineering or related field and five or more years experience

  • Broad supply-chain systems and functional knowledge including supply chain manufacturing operations transportation distribution procurement and/or customer solutions

  • Working knowledge of Labor Management and/or WMS tools preferred and analytical tools such as: SQL Tableau Microsoft Access and SAS

  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes or areas of opportunity and strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to apply CI/Lean principles towards continuous improvement of a process

  • Ability to collaborate with and leverage diverse resources to achieve results

  • Ability to travel up to 50% depending on project assignments
