Perdoceo Education Corporation is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist – Content who will serve as the primary point of contact for marketing and strategic communications. This role will report directly to and work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager to research write and edit a varied list of content types for marketing efforts across the multiple schools within the AIU System. Content types include but are not limited to blogs press releases digital ad copy landing pages web assets webinars emails print ads brochures event ads presentations and more.

As a member of the Perdoceo Education Corporation digital marketing team this position is responsible for working independently and with broader teams to achieve goals set forth by marketing leadership. This key position requires a successful marketing track record attention to detail project management and a willingness to learn and grow as a professional.


  • Build and manage an editorial/content calendar; coordinate with other content producers to maintain standards.
  • Produce engaging content that adheres to each school’s brand standards compliance guidelines and key strategic objectives.
  • Research content topics and cite sources when necessary. Understand and use quality sources.
  • Ability to write in an authoritative voice.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across schools to meet the content style strategic and brand goals of all content.
  • Leverage internal resources to enhance produced content including faculty members and other subject matter experts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each school’s audiences and serve as a brand voice champion for all content.
  • Work with the SEO team to optimize web content.
  • Define measure and analyze success metrics for reporting KPI improvement and content enhancement.
  • Meet quarterly with each marketing unit to understand goals and content needs.
  • Ability to distill complex subject matter into layperson’s terms.


  • Attention to detail impeccable proofreading skills and strong grammar skills are a must.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across multiple locales.
  • Maintaining consistent style and voice adhering to all compliance guidelines.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of writing projects often with quick turnarounds while producing engaging work.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Advertising or Communications from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of writing experience in any of the marketing channels described above.
  • Proven record of previous writing success in the form of a professional portfolio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely comfortable with technology systems (project management software CMS DAM)
  • Moderate user ability in Microsoft Word Excel and Powerpoint.
