Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role You will support service requests and provide support and maintenance within the PayPal’s end user computing environment. You will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person by telephone or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. Your way to impact

As a Warehouse Support Technician you will install diagnose repair maintain and upgrade all devices & peripherals (including but not limited to handheld scanners multiple types of printers all-in-one PCs laptops terminals and Microsoft Teams Rooms/conference room devices) to ensure optimal performance. You will also perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers laptops printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment. In addition you will handle hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the global support desk and escalated to the Global remote or Desktop Support onsite teams.

Your day to day

In your day-to-day role you will

  • Maintain system uptime at each of the user terminals including handheld scanners printers touchscreen/all-in-one PCs
  • Manage asset inventory and return defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory document customer repairs and maintain and restock assigned parts inventory to insure proper spare parts levels
  • Familiarize end users with basic software hardware and peripheral device operation
  • Take ownership and responsibility of queries issues and problems assigned to the queue
  • Develop technical knowledge of each system within company profile and specialized knowledge of certain nominated areas
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the desktop environment.
  • Complete regular training and process refreshes to ensure you are always compliant to SOP’s and processes to maintain security and consistent services

What do you need to bring?

  • 2-3 years’ experience working with customers either face to face or remote setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 2-3 years of equivalent IT hands-on experience
  • Industry certifications this can include MCP MCSE/MCITP etc.
  • Strong customer service focus
