Job Responsibilities : Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for performing high-level complex accounting functions within Accounts Receivable (AR) in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and statutory requirements. The incumbent prepares enterprise level AR reports including key metrics and trends. Prepares analysis and reconciliation of monthly activities prepares report detailing findings for general ledger discrepancies and makes recommendations for corrective actions. Performs support for assigned AR financial projects acts as mentor and trains other staff on various AR functions.


Performs complex reconciliations for enterprise AR revenue and balance sheet accounts

Develops and maintains the standard and customized reconciliation templates utilized by the various AR teams

Enterprise lead for the compilation and analysis of month-end AR reporting key metrics and trends including enterprise aging results

Reviews analyzes and corrects discrepancies between various systems and resolves system interface errors

Performs analysis of revenues and receivables by program

Responds to questions/disputes from customers vendors and staff from other departments

Mentors coworkers and other staff

Maintains queries and databases for metrics reporting tools and variance analysis

Maintains desk level procedures training and reference materials

Performs support for miscellaneous and special financial projects as assigned


4+ w/Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required and a minimum of 5 years related experience preferred.

In depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and general accounting structure

Strong analytical skills communication skills technical skills and multi-tasking abilities

Detail-oriented; flexible and creative with excellent organization and planning skills

Knowledge of policies procedures and guidelines

Knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Office applications: Excel (Advanced) Word Access Outlook Teams

A strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
