As a data analyst on the East Zone Field Claims Process team you’ll have the opportunity to interact with all levels of leadership within the East Zone by providing analytic support encompassing all claims handling processes within the organization. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other groups within Progressive including Claims Control Corporate Claims Process IT and Marketing. You’ll produce recurring and new reporting to monitor the business handle ad hoc requests to assist local leaders in solving business challenges and participate in the Claims data governance process. Remote work allowed Cleveland Ohio based.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree a bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree a minimum of four years of analytical work experience

Preferred skills

  • Basic to intermediate SQL SAS R and Python programming skills including the ability to create and troubleshoot basic programming
  • Proven aptitude for learning and using data analysis reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Recent claims knowledge helpful PIP experience preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office – such as PowerPoint and Excel – with advanced skills in spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up pivot tables charts graphing and macros


  • $54800-$107000/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
