About the role
The Findaway Audiobooks team within Spotify is seeking a Content Partnerships Editorial Associate to build and manage editorial on platform including merchandising content marketing and collaborating on key marketing campaigns. The Editorial Associate will provide publisher support and make valuable contributions to Publishers by providing performance insights and collaborating and sharing content marketing initiatives.

The right candidate has strong experience with merchandising digital content has a deep understanding of the publishing industry is passionate about books highly organized excellent communication skills enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to collaborate successfully with a variety of teams and partners.

What you’ll do

  • Create and implement editorial and merchandising strategy for audiobooks in key markets
  • Manage ongoing editorial updates
  • Collaborate and implement editorial plan recommendations based on a clear understanding of business goals to attract new and diverse audiences
  • Use research cultural insights and data analytics to develop the right editorial lens for our audiobooks platform
  • Support programming of editorial content on platform as needed
  • Build out an editorial calendar
  • Manage day to day relationships with audiobook publishers
  • Collaborate cross functionally with wider Spotify organizations to highlight audiobooks
  • Track analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends

Who you are

  • 5+ years of partner facing experience at a digital first platform
  • 5+ years of editorial/merchandising experience at a digital first online retailer and/or a publishing house
  • Hold deep understanding of the book publishing industry and have a proven track record of building excellent relationships
  • Experience building and implementing diverse recommendations that provide representation of cultures and people globally.
  • Strong communicator and able to work with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable using quantitative and qualitative data to build and drive strategy
  • Have a deep passion for books and connecting readers with great content
  • Passionate about the evolution of audio and enjoy consuming spoken word content
