Job Responsibilities : Senior Collections Analyst (Virtual / Fully Remote)

Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing customer accounts and past due notices. Follows-up with billing and payment. Updates departmental reports and maintains familiarity with current policy/procedures and slow moving accounts in collections. Writes job aides to support any new policies and procedures department rolls out. May be responsible for collections both over the phone in a call center environment or in a more traditional credit and collects role. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Core Responsibilities

  • Investigates and analyzes credit actions to assist with resolving outstanding items in a timely fashion. Facilitates projects, works with senior Analysts.
  • Assists with outlining necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
  • Reviews and maintains account information of customers’ financial status and collection efforts; generates reports of the same.
  • Researches and analyzes payment history/trends of all accounts.
  • Issues daily report on the status of delinquent accounts and tracks collection efforts.
  • Prepares monthly reports showing delinquency trends and analyzing collection results.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
