The Resource Planning Advisor provides expert content and professional leadership on complex pharmacy assignments and projects. The successful candidate will conduct quantitative analysis and predictive modeling using statistical analysis as needed. This position will provide recommendations to improve service and productivity. The candidate will maintain the short range forecast for the Front End pharmacy create and update scorecards and dashboards to management on workload productivity shrink and workforce. You will be expected to exercise considerable creativity foresight and judgement in conceiving planning and delivering initiatives. You will use your deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional business leaders. You will also work on broader projects which require understanding of the wider business. The resource planning advisor is recognized as the subject matter expert. This position will mentor less experienced Resource Planning Lead Analysts.

Essential Functions

Creates and socializes forecasting and budget models on a regular basis. This includes building and explaining bridges and walk-forwards from one forecast scenario to another

Explains the variance between actual and budget or forecast to senior leadership monthly. Explanations should lead to discussion of actionable changes to bring performance back to our financial commitments.

Identifies variances to service level metrics such as ASA and queue levels and collaborates to ensure metrics are attained.

In depth analysis of forecast assumptions versus actual performance to determine root cause change in predicted weekly daily or interval call volume. This can involve reviewing metrics in areas such as Call Center and PAC.

Present forecasting metrics including interval level forecast requirements staffing and over/under to the Resource Management Team and Operations via meetings and email as requested.

High school diploma or GED is required

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Finance Accounting Economics Engineering IT or statistics is required

MBA preferred

Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical areas such as labor planning financial analysis cost analysis strategic planning process engineering or accounting is required.

Workforce planning analysis in an operational environment is preferred

Knowledge of Accredo operations and systems is preferred

Ability to work independently under tight deadlines required

Strong analytical and technical skills is required

Advanced proficiency in Excel (v-lookups pivot tables macros) and Powerpoint is required

Advanced communication and presentation skills is required

Proven ability to perform in-depth data analysis and present insights in a clear manner is required.

Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment learn quickly solve problems and make decisions with minimal supervision is required.

Background in Statistical analysis (linear regression) is preferred

Ability to prioritize and meet timelines and deadlines

Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.

Minimal travel expectations

This position can be performed in a virtual or office environment.

For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 70900 – 118100 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
