Summary

CGS is now hiring full-time work-from-home Customer Service Advocates that will provide prompt accurate thorough and courteous responses to all customer inquiries. Performs research as needed to resolve inquiries.

A day in the life of a CGS Customer Service Advocates:

Ensures effective customer relations by responding accurately timely and courteously to telephone written web or walk-in inquiries. Accurately documents inquiries.

Initiates or processes adjustments or performs other research as needed to resolve inquiries. Coordinates with other departments to resolve problems. Responds to researches and/or assists with priority inquiries and special projects as required by management.

Provides feedback to management regarding customer problems questions and needs. Maintains accurate records on complaints and/or other customer comments and makes recommendations for management changes. Follows through on complaints until resolved or reports to management as needed.

Maintains basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies. Assists with process improvements through the recommendation of changes in procedures and techniques discovered during daily operations. Maintains all departmental productivity quality and timeliness standards.

Identifies and promptly reports and/or refers suspected fraudulent activities and system errors to the appropriate departments.


Description

Location:
This is a remote position – you MUST live in the state of Tennessee Iowa or North Carolina.
Work hours:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST (Full Time – 8 Hour Shift/ no weekends)

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong human relations and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations.
  • Good judgment skills. Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn and operation skills
  • Standard office equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Two years of customer service or call center experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing spreadsheet and database software

Work from home call-center requirements:
  • Must have a distraction-free work environment
  • We will provide all computer and phone equipment
  • Internet access with the ability to hardwire via ethernet from a modem to your PC.
  • Internet speed must support video/web/audio and voice-over-IP (VoIP) (not less than 5 Mbps)
