Performs a variety of branch duties in accordance with regulatory and security guidelines. Generates new business through educating and cross selling products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Assists clients by telephone or in person with new account services including additions or changes in client accounts. Actively cross sells all bank products.
  • Fills out contract forms determines charges or fees for service requested collects deposits prepares change of address records and proper disclosure forms.
  • Remains educated on all bank products services and technology offered by the bank.
  • Adapts quickly to the changing technology.
  • Increases consumer awareness of the technology available to them through our products and services.
  • Educates clients on the use of technology and provides instruction/demonstration on how to properly use the technology for their benefit.
  • Solves client complaints questions or problems.
  • Assists in all branch supervisory functions including branch settlement teller balancing ATM settlement.
  • Receives checks and cash for deposit verifies amount and examines checks for endorsements.
  • Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and client balances.
  • Enters clients’ transactions into computer to record transactions and issues computer generated receipts.
  • Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds
  • Responds to audit reviews and helps complete branch monthly audit reports.
  • Orders branch cash as well as ATM cash orders for delivery.
  • Places Foreign Currency orders for clients.
  • Prepares Domestic and Foreign wire transfers for clients.
  • Allows clients access to safe deposit boxes following specified procedures.
  • Monitors and reviews financial institution’s security procedures and control access to vault.
  • Assists in maintaining all dual control logs.
  • Uses supervisory authority in support of teller transactions.
  • Ensures the security and safety of all employees.
  • Supervisor authority appropriate to level assigned.

SECONDARY DUTIES

  • Represents the bank in community related activities.
  • Attends educational programs/seminars related to banking.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Not responsible for supervision of other employees.

. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience with electronic delivery channels including Internet Banking Mobile Banking/Mobile Deposit eStatements Bill Pay etc. is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients clients and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. Ability to use and understand calculator. Ability to understand interest rate and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
