The Senior Software Development Engineer (SDEIII) recruiting team is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to help grow and scale hiring across our Consumer team. The Senior Technical Recruiter will be aligned to the North America Consumer (NAC) International Consumer (IC) e-Commerce Foundation (eCF) business working closely with business leaders and Consumer Talent Acquisition (CTA) leadership to drive a recruiting strategy; including requirements gathering process improvement for interviewing and closing candidates.

Successful recruiters on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks forecasting and tracking against metrics and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative fast-paced environment can roll up their sleeves work hard and have fun to get the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.

Core Responsibilities:

Partner with hiring teams to build effective SDEIII passive sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment

Recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical skills and chemistry of candidates for fit and to understand candidate motivation

Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews with candidates and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios

Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes that fit within Amazon’s mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer

Articulate in writing a sourcing plan with deliverable timelines and a formal tracking process

Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline to support hiring goals

Ability to generate a high volume of high quality talent · Demonstrated creativity in delivering against strategic sourcing initiatives for technologists and engineering profiles · Thinks strategically and stays on top of tactical execution · Results oriented · Ability to train coach co-manage teams of successful and talented individuals · Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently in a fast paced changing work environment · Experience with developing strong relationships with recruiters managers business partners and candidates · Strong business acumen – understanding how to balance business needs and candidate experience

The pay range for this position based in Colorado is $137000- $180000 (yr); however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
