Operations is one of four services–the others are Accenture Song Technology and Strategy & Consulting.

The Record to Report Analyst provides integrated finance and accounting services to a large global technology corporation across eight global delivery locations. The engagement spans over 120 countries and includes over five hundred individual roles worldwide incorporating thirty-six languages.


  • Preparation and posting of international payroll journal entries

  • Perform a high-level review of both B/S and P/L for obvious errors omissions or inconsistencies

  • SOX review: Prepare Journal Entry and Account Reconciliations using workflow tools. Ensure integrity accuracy and timeliness of all financial accounting data.

  • Month End/Quarter End Close: execution of the monthly fiscal close process ensure close process is completed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Ad hoc activities: The Payroll Analyst will be asked to support ad hoc requests from the Payroll Sr. Analyst Payroll Team Lead Accenture Service Delivery Lead and Client.

This is a remote role and will not require going into an office at this time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ payroll and or financial accounting experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting Business Finance or equivalent work experience in payroll accounting or finance

  • Experience with Benefit Accruals Payroll Tax Allocations Payroll Tax Collections

  • Experience working with MS Excel (pivot v-lookup)

  • SAP experience would be an advantage

  • Knowledge of GAAP’s SOX control and reporting standards/procedures


  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Good organizational & time management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Writes speaks and presents information effectively and persuasively to the team client and the wider Accenture organization

  • Numeracy and accuracy are a must

  • Ability to own responsibilities and processes

  • Positive attitude and flexibility

  • Research and problem-solving skills

  • Strong team player while also being able to demonstrate a high level of self-initiative

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience and specific office location.
